Properties
The effective broad-spectrum anthelmintic belonging to the benzimidazole group. It acts by inhibiting microtubule formation in the intestinal cells of parasites, leading to impaired glucose uptake and eventual death of the worms. Characterized by excellent efficacy against both mature and immature stages of nematodes, cestodes, and trematodes with a high safety margin.
Indications
Drug of choice for the treatment and control of roundworms, tapeworms, and other gastrointestinal nematodes in poultry and cattle. Highly effective against Ascaridia galli, Capillaria species, and other common internal parasites in livestock and poultry.
Dosage
Poultry: 100-150 ml in 100 Ltr of drinking water for 1 day (10 mg/kg body weight). Cattle: 10-15 ml per kg of body weight. Or as directed by the veterinarian.
