Properties
The effective broad-spectrum anthelmintic belonging to the piperazine group. It acts by blocking neuromuscular transmission in the parasite, causing flaccid paralysis and subsequent expulsion of the worms from the host’s gastrointestinal tract. Characterized by rapid action against mature and immature stages of nematodes with a high safety margin.
Indications
Drug of choice for the removal of nematodes and roundworms (Ascaridia galli, Capillaria species) in livestock and poultry.
Dosage
For Poultry: 30-60 ml for 100 birds. Large Animals: 100-200 ml or as per veterinary doctor. Or as directed by the veterinarian.
