Properties
The effective broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the amphenicol group. It is a fluorinated analogue of chloramphenicol with potent bacteriostatic action. Characterized by excellent tissue penetration, rapid absorption, and activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including those resistant to other antibiotics.
Indications
Drug of choice for the treatment of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infections, enteric infections, and other systemic bacterial diseases in poultry and swine. Highly effective against major poultry and swine pathogens.
Dosage
Poultry: 1 ml per 1 Ltr of drinking water for 3–5 days. Swine: 1 ml in 1 Ltr of drinking water (10 ml/kg body weight) for 5 days. Or as recommended by the veterinarian.
