Each ml contains: Sulphadiazine USP 400 mg Trimethoprim IP 80 mg
Properties
The effective broad-spectrum antibiotic combination belongs to the sulphonamide and diaminopyrimidine group. It exerts synergistic bacteriostatic action by sequentially blocking two steps in the folic acid synthesis pathway of bacteria. Characterized by excellent activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria with superior absorption and distribution in tissues.
Indications
Drug of choice for the treatment and prevention of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infections, enteric infections, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, and other systemic bacterial diseases in poultry, calves, goats, and sheep.
Dosage
Poultry (Treatment): 1 ml suspension in 5 litres of drinking water daily for 4–6 days. Poultry (Prevention): 1 ml suspension in 10 litres of drinking water daily for 3 days. Calves, Goats & Sheep: Twice daily 1 ml per 10 kg body weight for 4–5 days. Or as recommended by the veterinarian.
